Overview Founded in 1995, Gender Equality Incorporated (GEI) is a Toronto-based consulting firm that specializes in building capacity to achieve equitable outcomes for women and men in Canada and overseas.
CLIENTS: We work with individuals, Canadian project staff and overseas partners, donor organizations, research institutions, corporations and the for-profit sector, among others to ensure that the vision for gender equality (which is more comprehensive than focusing only on women's equality) is achievable and sustainable.
SERVICES: Our services include conducting gender and social analysis, project proposal development and review, institutional gender and equity audits, development and delivery of training for overseas clients (gender and development training) and Canadian clients (anti-discrimination, cross-cultural and workplace sensitivity training) and support for gender mainstreaming in projects, programs and organizations. We have special expertise in project planning and implementation with Canadian International Development Agency and numerous other donor organizations, using Results-Based Management and Logical Framework Models.
